Missouri Business Online is owned and operated by Traci Knoppe, a full-time online entrepreneur since 1998, and is a division of Titus 2 Web Studios LLC. She first got online in 1995 and quickly realized she had a knack for html and all things web design. After a brief venture into an online retail store (whereby she built the entire web site herself, including setting up the ecommerce store); as soon as others learned she knew how to build web sites, she transitioned to full time web design services, specializing in setting up ecommerce web sites. All of her design clients were obtained through referral and social networking (even before anyone knew what social networking was!).
In 2007, Traci took a short hiatus from web design to learn more about internet and affiliate marketing. During this time, she wrote a hugely successful course on WordPress and began teaching and public speaking on the topics of blogging, internet marketing, affiliate marketing, online entrepreneurship and social media. Yet everywhere she went, there were those who didn’t want to learn how to do all this themselves – they wanted someone to do it for them.
A New Business Model Was Born
In September 2009, Traci got the idea to change her business model to an outsource services model, offering clients a flat monthly retainer fee based service, as a savings over her normal hourly rate. She hired a Team of American workers to help her and Your Web Tech Team was born! She was at profit in a mere 10 days and doing 6 figures in only 5.5 months!! To say that this business model has been a success would be an understatement.
Branching Out
Even with the resounding success of Your Web Tech Team, which caters primarily to established and successful online entrepreneurs; there were still some business owners who weren’t quite ready for ongoing services, and/or just needed some work done – without any ongoing commitments. Thus QuickSourcing™ was born. The concept with QuickSourcing is to submit work and get it done quickly. No ongoing monthly fee.
Expanding Our Market Reach… Offline
While we enjoy helping the online entrepreneur with their tech needs for their business; there is still an untapped market that we are seeking to reach – the offline business owner. Recently, while driving through her small hometown of Sullivan, Missouri, Traci noticed that more than half of the retail spaces were now empty. With the local unemployment rate over 9% – times are tough for many. Business owners need to change their marketing strategies to stay in front of their market. Traditional marketing doesn’t work like it used to with nearly everyone going online to search for even local businesses before they shop or when they need something.
Times have changed… and so should the marketing of the offline business owner.
